TERMS

Use Honest Reviews to describe real experiences responsibly.

These terms establish the basic responsibilities shared by reviewers, representatives, moderators, and visitors.

Effective August 27, 2026. These MVP terms should receive counsel review before unrestricted public launch.

Account responsibility

You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your account, and use only accounts you control. Account confirmation does not prove legal identity, professional authority, or that a review is true.

Your submissions

You are responsible for the content you submit and must have a genuine firsthand basis for it. You may not impersonate another person, submit unlawful content, expose private information, coordinate harassment, manipulate ratings, or use reviews to demand money or another benefit.

Publication license

You retain ownership of your content and give Honest Reviews permission to host, reproduce, format, moderate, and display it for operating and promoting the service. You may request withdrawal, subject to the audit, safety, dispute, and legal-retention rules described in our policies.

Moderation

We may approve, reject, redact, label, limit, or remove content to enforce our guidelines or protect users. We aim to record material decisions accurately, but we do not promise that every submission will be published or resolved within a fixed time.

Representative access

Claiming a profile requires authority to represent that business or provider. Approved access may be suspended or revoked. A response must address the review and may not threaten, expose, or harass the reviewer.

No professional advice or endorsement

Reviews are user-submitted experiences and opinions, not endorsements by Honest Reviews. Ratings and badges should not be treated as legal, financial, medical, licensing, or professional advice.

Changes and disputes

We may update these terms as the service changes and will provide reasonable notice of material updates. Reports and appeals should use the applicable in-product process so the relevant record can be reviewed.
